Decision:

The council is seeking to appoint a Contractor to undertake major
structural works to the gardens, outbuildings, foundations and retaining
walls at the side of 16 Stacey Close and the rear of Clyde Street
Properties.

Following evaluation of the returned tenders it is recommended that the Interim Director of Neighbourhood Services in consultation with the Interim Director of Resources, award the contract for structural repairs to the wall at the side of 18 Stacey Close and the rear of Clyde Street Properties to Sutton Coldfleld Construction.

of Supported Lodgings to accommodate Single Homeless people
aged 16-25 years old for period 1 August 2021 to 1 July 2022
Which stated … “that the Director – Law and Governance and
Monitoring Officer enter into contracts for supported lodgings
with successful tenderers for a period of two years with the
option to extend these contracts further for two periods of one
year on terms to be agreed by the Executive Director – Adult
Social Care, Health and Wellbeing;”

Decision:

1.1 That investment of £376,000 per annum from the Better Care Fund in a two-year Community Dementia Support Service for Sandwell commencing on 16 August 2021, with an option to extend for a further year to 15 August 2024 is implemented.
1.2 That the Interim Director of Adult Social Care following a competitive procurement exercise approves contract award to the successful tenderer for a Community Dementia Support Service.
1.3 That the Director - Law and Governance and Monitoring Officer, or their designated representative, execute any documents necessary to give effect to execute award contract and contract monitoring for the provision of a Community Dementia Support Service.
1.4 That the Interim Director of Adult Social Care works jointly with partners in the NHS, Adult Social Services and the Voluntary, Community and Third Sectors to implement and monitor the service which will be overseen by the Sandwell Joint Partnership Board.

That the interim Director of Adult Social Care approves utilisation of the contract extension in relation to ITT049 Provision of Supported Accommodation in Sandwell for Victims of Domestic Abuse for period 1 May 2021 to 30 April 2021 as delegated in the delegated to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care, Health and Wellbeing in the original Cabinet Report of October 2017 which said:
“In connection with 1 above, authorise the Executive Director - Adult Social Care, Health and Wellbeing to enter into a contract with the successful tenderer for 3 years with an option for a further year on terms to be agreed by the Executive Director – Adult Social Care, Health and Wellbeing”
