Appointment to alternative position To consider proposals to appoint an officer to an alternative position. Minutes: Following an expression of interest for suitable alternative work to Directors at risk of redundancy, in accordance with Council policy, the Sub Committee considered one candidate for the position of Programme Manager Levelling Up, a two-year fixed term post reporting to the Director of Public Health.
Having considered the candidate, the Sub Committee resolved to unanimously appoint Tony McGovern to the position of Programme Manager Levelling Up.
Resolved that Tony McGovern, currently Director of Regeneration and Growth at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, be appointed to the role of Programme Manager Levelling Up for a two-year fixed term period.
