Purpose:
This is a joint procurement between Sandwell,
Walsall and Wolverhampton library services, using the approved ESPO
framework.
Decision:
That approval be given to award a contract for
the period 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2026 for the supply of
library book stock to Peters Ltd.
Reasons for the decision:
The award represents both best value for money
and best quality, as determined by the procurement
process.
Alternative options considered:
The provision of book stock for libraries is a
key service, without which libraries couldn’t fulfil their
statutory obligations under law.
